- Provided logistical support for programs, including pricing supplies, contacting vendors, setting up spaces, and presence at events and programs
- Developed activities as part of large programs, such as the movie premiere festival and Family Adventure Day, including researching and writing description sheets and instruction sheets
- Reported on viability of programs for English as a second language students by researching ESL, interviewing museums with such programs, and talking with the ESL association in the local community
- Created a sample program for ESL students for the NHA
- Uploaded and maintained images from department events on the image server
- Assisted with other projects as assigned, including art projects at 1800 House and member mailings

Visitor Use Assistant/Park Ranger, Arlington House: The Robert E. Lee Memorial

- Interpret Arlington House for visitors during regular hours and at special events. Themes include Robert E. Lee and family, the connection to George Washington, plantation slavery, family life, the Civil War and Arlington House’s role, and the creation of Arlington National Cemetery.
- Conduct research for programs and interpretive signs.
- Drafted interpretive signs, such as the one about Lee and Stratford Hall.
- Led 4th grade Parks-As-Classroom programs for up to 25 school children at a time, including giving house tours and dressing up and potpourri activity
- Designed with co-worker Melanie Parker a website for Arlington House friends group, Save Historic Arlington House, Inc.
