- Focuses on themes of westward expansion and manifest destiny, nationalism, iconography, and Early American art
- Created Capitol Art: Teaching the Art of the Capitol Rotunda for Fifth Graders digital teacher’s resource.

- Co-created a Teaching with Historic Places lesson plan for grades 5-12 for National Park Service site Arlington House as part of Public History Practicum
- Used primary research including photos, maps, and documents to document history of Arlington House and meet National History Standards
- Used this opportunity to explore the uses of a wiki in creating a companion site for teachers to exchange ideas and interact with one another in a forum.
